No. Ibenstein lies outside Namibia’s malaria areas, so there is really no need to worry about malaria during your stay with us.

Yes, as long as you follow the instructions of your hosts. The family knows every animal and every corner of the farm and always keeps your safety and the animals’ wellbeing in mind.

Near Dordabis, on the edge of the Kalahari, about one hour’s drive from Windhoek. That makes the farm ideal for the first or last nights of a Namibia trip.

Yes. We collect you from Hosea Kutako International Airport or from Windhoek on request. Transfers are charged per car; please add your flight details to your request.

Ibenstein has four freestanding cottages, each with a double bed; selected cottages can add a single bed and families can share. For larger groups, elegant double rooms in the farmhouse are available on request, and you can book the whole farm exclusively.

Our rates include half board: breakfast and dinner, which you share with the family and the other guests. You can add lunch for full board. Children under 6 stay and eat free. Tell us about dietary wishes when you book.

There is Wi-Fi in the main house and often in the cottages, but Wi-Fi in Namibia can be unreliable. Mobile data works everywhere on the farm.

Yes, laundry service is available every day.

In the main house there is a fridge with a selection of drinks. Help yourself and note down what you took, it is settled at the end of your stay.

Yes: the maximum rider weight is 70 kg for beginners and 85 kg for experienced riders. Please tell us every rider’s weight in your request.

For our regular rides you should be confident at walk, trot and canter in open terrain. Beginners are very welcome on a dedicated beginners’ ride.

It is not compulsory, but we recommend it. Helmets are available to borrow. Riding is at your own risk, and every rider fills in a short indemnity form before the first ride.

Every season has its charm. From May to October the days are dry and sunny and the nights cool to cold: bring warm layers for early rides and evenings. From November to April the summer rains turn the farm green and the skies are spectacular.

Yes, cottages can be booked directly via Nightsbridge. If you would like activities, please also send us a request, otherwise we cannot guarantee that every activity is available.
