With only four cottages, Ibenstein never feels busy. Each stands on its own under old trees, and every one looks straight onto the waterhole, where you can watch game come to drink.
The whole glass front folds away, so the bedroom opens to the bush.

A cool pool in the shade of the trees
After a morning in the saddle or on a game drive, the pool is where the day slows down. Loungers in the shade, a stone terrace, the green of the trees overhead, and often one of the farm dogs keeping you company.
As the sun goes down, the palms around the terrace glow and the water turns silver.
Four cottages, equally beautiful
Camelthorn, Owl, Francolin and Zebra are named after the trees and animals of the farm, and all four offer the same comfort, the same space and the same view of the waterhole.

Our wonderful cooks follow the farm: home-raised meat, often game, always fresh vegetables and creative dishes.
Breakfast and dinner are included in our half-board rates. Dinner is shared with the family and the other guests, and very often there is a traditional Namibian braai over the coals. Lunch can be added.

A real farm, with a lot of four-legged company
Around the house live our horses and cattle, pigs and chickens, many dogs and just as many cats. Expect a warm welcome at the door, and possibly a dog joining you on the game drive.
